Japan-based game developer Mistwalker has just announced that it will be terminating the service for its mobile RPG Terra Battle 2 on 3 September 2018, just under a year since its release on 21 September 2018.
Mistwalker stated that they “cannot continue to offer the highest level of quality” to players in North America, and as such will have to shut the game down. The Japanese version however remains unaffected.
The game has since been removed from stores, so players will no longer be able to download nor update the game. Sale for Super Energy has already ceased. When the game shuts down, customer service will also not be provided.
Terra Battle 2 is the brainchild of Sakaguchi Hironobu, whom you may recognise as the father of the Final Fantasy franchise. The game is a direct sequel to the first Terra Battle. For additional details, be sure to visit the announcement page.
