No time to be blue with Smurfs Kart, coming to Nintendo Switch

Following Global Smurfs Day, publisher Microids and Smurfs license holder, IMPS, have unveiled Smurfs Kart, their next game collaboration! The first visuals of the new, dynamic racing game have been released, taking you on a road ripping race around the colourful Smurfs universe, slated for release on Nintendo Switch this coming Winter. Eden Games (Gear.Club Unlimited, Test Drive Unlimited, V-Rally…) is developing the title, adding another racing game under its belt.

Get ready to rev up those engines and choose your Smurf. How will you utilize their unique karts and abilities to take home pole position? Play solo or with friends and family, and find out who’s the fastest Smurf of the village.

Going by the work in progress screenshots, you should be able to expect Smurfs Kart to be similar like Chocobo GP or of course, Mario Kart, with power-ups to find and use, shortcuts to utilize during the race and all that good stuff. We’ll have to see what else the game can do to set itself apart from the other licensed racing games out there.
