Homegrown Music-Action game No Straight Roads is getting its first post-launch content in the form of free DLC. According to official sources, the No Straight Roads Christmas DLC will be out “very soon”.
The DLC sees the game’s bosses all decked out in festive gear, complete with festive remixes of their boss themes.
In a tweet by the official No Straight Roads account, we can see DJ Subatomic Supernova ‘s entire stage decked out for the festive mood, with the usual planets-and-asteroids replaced with stars and Christmas ornaments.

Similarly, robotic boyband 1010 are also decked out in reindeer heads, along with military jackets making them look like the Nutcracker.
Of course, it’s not just the bosses getting in on the festive cheer. Mayday and Zuke will also get new festive outfits, including a new sound effect for Mayday’s guitar that echoes Santa Claus’ laugh.
Fans will have to defeat the regular boss first to access the Christmas version of the fight, which can be selected via the rematch menu. Choosing the Christmas remix of the song will unlock the Christmas versions of the bosses.
Fans of the Christmas remixes won’t need to worry about not being able to listen to the tracks, as Metronomik have made all the Christmas remixes are available to stream online via Spotify and YouTube.
