Nintendo Systems, a subsidiary between Nintendo and DeNA has officially opened its doors today in Tokyo.
The company’s goal according to their official website is “to create a system that facilitates the delivery of Nintendo’s entertainment to our customers”. Announced 5 months ago, this joint venture between the two companies is to strengthen digitalisation of Nintendo’s business by having this company be part of research and development.
Wanting to to provide this experience in a holistic manner, the company is working to maintain and expand its relationship with consumers primarily through Nintendo Account as the integrated hardware-software model.
Nintendo System’s official website also listed out their representative board, with Tetsuya Sasaki helming the company as President and Representative Director. The website also mentions the capital for Nintendo Systems is a total of 5 billion yen, with Nintendo Corporation being its main shareholder at 80% stake.
Nintendo Systems will also be having two offices, with their Headquarters being in Tokyo, while their other office being in Kyoto.
The company is also currently looking to accepting applications for career employment in June 2023. Applicants who are interested and register their email addresses and will be contacted once recruitment begins. However, Nintendo Systems are not planning on recruit fresh graduates to their company as of time of writing.
