Nintendo Switch had announced the release of Minecraft crossplay with Xbox on Twitter earlier today and fans from both platforms went wild over it. It was something to be celebrated as this would allow players from both platforms to play together or play on different consoles; let’s say you were playing on your Xbox and you’re going away so you brought your Nintendo Switch along which allows you to play on-the-go!

Well these are just the beginning of an era of crossplay between consoles. Here’s to hoping that Sony would change their minds about having some crossplay possibilities in the future!
