Nintendo has just announced that Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online next week on August 9, 2024. If you’re a member of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier, you’ll be able to gain access to it. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team was initially released on November 17, 2005, in Japan for the Game Boy Advance.
The series became known for its engaging storytelling, emotional depth, and strategic gameplay. Following its Japanese release, Red Rescue Team was subsequently released in North America on September 18, 2006, in Australia on September 28, 2006, and in Europe on November 10, 2006.

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, players begin the adventure as a human who mysteriously transforms into a Pokémon. After a personality quiz determines the player’s Pokémon form, they choose a partner Pokémon and wake up in a world inhabited solely by Pokémon.
The story revolves around the player and their partner forming a rescue team to help Pokémon in distress, typically by navigating through various dungeons. These dungeons are randomly generated, offering different challenges and enemies each time.
