Recently, Nintendo had their Nintendo Direct Stream which revealed a list of games that will be released for the 3DS and Switch. However most of the games were for the Switch so we made a compilation of games that you might be interested for the Switch.
Taiko Drum Master: Nintendo Switch Version
Taiko Drum Master: Nintendo Switch Version is a game by Bandai Namco and it is slated to be launched this Summer in Japan. The game will allow players to use the Joy-Cons as their drumsticks which also supports HD Rumble. They have added songs from popular Nintendo titles like Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2 and many more.

Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud
Phantasy Star Online 2: Cloud is a game by Sega which will be launched on the Switch in Japan on the 4th of April. The game includes a The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild collaboration which allows players to adorn their characters with Link’s costume, weapons and accessories. Both Phantasy Star Online 2 on the PS4, PS Vita and PC in Japan and Phatasy Star Online 2: Cloud are the same game but the latter runs on cloud instead of on a local console.

Super Smash Bros.
Nintendo recently announced a new entry in the Super Smash Bros. series that will be coming for the Switch. The game will be launched in 2018 and according to the trailer, Splatoon was seen along with Mario and Link in the fiery background.

Splatoon 2
A Splatoon 2 version 3.0 update is slated to be launched in late April as announced by Nintendo. The update will bring in over 100 new pieces of gear, new stages (Piranha Pit, Camp Triggerfish and Wahoo World) and a new rank (Rank X) into the game. The Rank X is the highest rank, above the S+ Rank.
They had also announced the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion which is a paid downloadable single-player expansion which is due out this summer at $19.99. Players will be able to play a new character called Agent 8, an Octoling finding itself in a dark subway station with amnesia. From the shady underground test facility, there are 8 of them connected by the subway where over 80 missions awaits Agent 8. There will also be new stories that will shed light on other characters. Players will later be able to join multiplayer matches as an Octoling after clearing the story.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition
Hyrule Warriors is a game that was first released in August 2014. However Nintendo had recently announced Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition for the Switch that will be launched on May 18th in North America and Europe. The game will also be launched in Japan but on an earlier that which is 22nd March.

A new, ultimate version of the exhilarating action game set in the Zeldauniverse will include every map and mission, plus all 29 playable characters from both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of the game, along with all of the previous paid downloadable content. Additionally, the game includes new outfits for Link and Zelda based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole
Yes, you heard that right. South Park: The Fractured But Whole will also be coming to the Switch on the 24th April. The Switch version will have two downloadable add-ons: “Danger Deck” and “From Dusk Till Casa Bonita”, which will be available for purchase later when the game launches. Players can either purchase seperately or as part of the season pass along with the third add-on, “Bring the Crunch” that’s coming to the Switch this summer.

In The Fractured But Whole, crime is on the rise in South Park, and the streets have never been more dangerous. As the sun sets on the quiet Colorado town, terror, havoc, and chaos are unleashed as the seedy underbelly of the city comes alive. The town needs new heroes to come to the rescue. Eric Cartman seizes the opportunity to save the town and create the best superhero franchise ever, his own Coon and Friends, with himself, The Coon, as the leader.
In Danger Deck, players will be teleported to never-before-seen locations throughout South Park to fight enemy encounters custom-crafted by the Freedom Pals. These increasingly difficult encounters will test and push the limits of any superhero.
In From Dusk Till Casa Bonita, Mysterion’s sister is in trouble. She’s fallen in with the Vamp Kids of South Park, who have descended upon Cartman’s favorite restaurant, Casa Bonita. Players will need to fight darkness with darkness and embrace the new Netherborn class, which offers four new occult powers. Enter the battle alongside a new buddy, Henrietta the Goth.

Little Nightmares: Complete Edition
Little Nightmares, the game that gives the song Jeepers Creepers a whole new meaning to it, will be coming to the Switch! Bandai Namco announced that the game called Little Nightmares: Complete Edition for the Switch will be coming on the 18th May. As the name tells us, the game will included both the base game and the “Secrets of the Maw” expansion pass.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy by Naughty Dogs that was launched for the PS4, will now be coming to the Switch! The game will also be arriving to other platforms like Xbox One and PC – Steam on the 10th of July by Activision. As it is a trilogy, it will include Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.

Undertale
Undertale, the very loved game that was available for the PC, PS4 and PS Vita will now be coming to Switch! If you don’t know about the game yet, here’s an overview of the game’s story and features from Steam:

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was a game that was first released for the Wii U on November 2014. However during the Nintendo Direct Stream, they had made an announcement that the game will be coming to Switch! The game will also be coming to the 3DS and will officially launch on the 13th of July.
Here is an overview of the game, via Nintendo:
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, which originally launched for Wii U, is coming to Nintendo Switch. The new version includes new miniature courses based on various Kingdoms in the Super Mario Odyssey game. Also, anyone can play with a friend or family member by sharing a pair of Joy-Con controllers. While one player controls Captain Toad, the other can assist with things like turnip cover fire. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker launches for Nintendo Switch on July 13.
A Nintendo 3DS version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, which includes stereoscopic 3D visuals and touch-screen controls, also launches on July 13.

Mario Tennis Aces
Another new Mario game by Nintendo, Mario Tennis Aces, will be coming to Switch! The game announced by Yoshiaki Koizumi will be launched for the Switch on the 22nd of June. The Mario Tennis game will have tones of new features and skill shots so players will need to master the game with their Joy-Cons.
Here are some new details, via Nintendo:
Unleash an arsenal of shots and strategies in all-out tennis battles with friends, family and fan-favorite Mushroom Kingdom characters. With up to four-player local (additional accessories may be required and are sold separately) and online multiplayer, and a story mode that even includes creative boss battles, Mario Tennis Aces is one of the most robust Mario sports games yet. The intuitive and deep gameplay allows for exciting competitions in the living room or, really, anywhere using the power of Nintendo Switch. In Swing Mode, players can use their Joy-Con controllers like a tennis racket, swinging them to initiate the tennis swings in the game.

Dark Souls: Remastered
The game that has caused millions of in-game deaths, Dark Souls, has gotten a remastered. Dark Souls: Remastered will be hosted by Bandai Namco on a free network test across platforms for the PS4, Xbox One and the Switch prior to the game’s launch.
The free network test will allow players the ability to play a part of the game before its launch to test the game’s unique online features. Dark Souls: Remastered will launch for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on the 25th May.
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is a game by Grasshopper Manufacture. They have debuted their first gameplay footage of the game which we can see below. The game is due out this year on the Switch but no official dates was announced.

When Travis Touchdown wanders into the game world, he goes on a rampage of epic proportions. The latest title in the cult classic No More Heroes series contains a total of seven game titles, including an action game, racing game and puzzle game. By using another Joy-Con controller, two players can team up for co-op multiplayer action.

Octopath Traveler
Octopath Traveler will be launched worldwide for the Switch on the 13th July! The game will also have a “Wayfarer’s Edition” limited edition which includes a stylized pop-up book, cloth map, sound selection CD, and replica coin based on the in-game currency.
Square Enix also shared three new news items:
- Tressa the Merchant – She sets off to find her own adventure and gain experience in her job. Her path action is “Purchase,” which allows her to obtain special items from townsfolk.
- Alfyn the Apothecary – He embarks on a journey to heal those suffering across the continent. His path action is “Acquire,” which allows him to get info others are not privy to in conversations.
- Jobs in Battle – Characters have a base job, but can also equip a sub-job to use in battle. Jobs can be combined to expand strategic options.

Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido
Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido was a game that was announced back in E3 2017. The game will also be coming to the Switch and 3DS worldwide on the 8th of June as Nintendo announced during their Nintendo Direct Stream.

Okami HD
Okami, the Japanese oriental painting dog, will be coming to Switch in a HD version. The game will be coming to Switch via the Nintendo eShop that will be launched in this Summer as announced by Capcom.

Okami HD , one of the most visually breathtaking action video games ever made, is coming to Nintendo Switch with high definition graphics updated for modern HD televisions. Originally released in 2006, Okami brought the Japanese Sumi-e ink style art to video games, marrying art with action and an epic tale, making it one of the most unique and beautiful video games ever. Okami HD will be available as a digital download for Nintendo Switch this summer.
In the game, players draw brushstrokes on screen with the Celestial Brush to battle opponents or solve puzzles. Unique to Nintendo Switch, Okami HD will offer new functionality for the Celestial Brush, taking advantage of the Nintendo Switch system’s touchscreen and motion-control support to create intuitive new ways to solve puzzles and defeat foes. These artistic touches include:

- Motion-Control Painting – Paint with the Joy-Con controller’s motion controls in TV or Tabletop mode by moving it in the desired pattern, just like a paintbrush

Kirby: Star Allies
Kirby, that little pink blob, has gotten a game on the Switch! The game that was announced a couple of days ago will allow players to befriend “Dream Friends” like King Dedede, Meta Knight and Bandana Waddle Dee. The game that is slated to be launched on March 16th will also be receiving a free update on the 28th of March which will add Rock, Kine and Coo, Marx and Gooey as Dream Friend characters.
