Nintendo held a two-part Direct presentation on August 27, 2024, featuring both a Partner Showcase and an Indie World segment. The 40-minute event revealed a variety of upcoming titles for the Nintendo Switch. Here are the key announcements:

The showcase also featured the Tetris 40th Anniversary Collection, which includes historical content and a new “Tetris Time Warp” mode, will launch later this year, while the NES version of Tetris is set to join the Nintendo Switch Online library for subscribers.
The August 2024 Nintendo Direct also included announcements for Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer and SpongeBob Squarepants: The Patrick Star Game, further diversifying the lineup. As previously stated by Nintendo, no information was shared about the next Nintendo console during this Direct.
This presentation follows a packed Direct in June that featured major first-party announcements like Mario & Luigi: Brothership and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
