Like most crossover collaborations in Goddess of Victory: Nikke, it looks like EVE and the girls are likely making their way from Stellar Blade as playable characters.
In an interview with South Korean gaming outlet GameToc, technical director Lee Dong-ki mentioned plans for the collaboration between both SHIFT UP titles Goddess of Victory: Nikke and Stellar Blade.
For Goddess of Victory: Nikke, Lee mentioned that Stellar Blade‘s main protagonist EVE along with her companions Tachy and Lily, as well as Raven, an important character who shows later in the main story, are likely the ones to become playable in the crossover.
As for what will be included in Stellar Blade, Lee mentioned that some costumes from Goddess of Victory: Nikke are expected to be added for EVE to wear. However, Lee also heavily emphasized that nothing is at the moment confirmed yet.
The crossover collaboration between both games was confirmed during our interview with SHIFT UP CEO and Stellar Blade game director Hyung-Tae Kim.
When asked about the possibility of crossovers, Kim responded “Yes, absolutely! At the right time, we will be presenting a very high-quality crossover collaboration between the two. So it’s something that you can definitely look forward to.”
Apart from comments about the collaborations, the GameToc interview with Lee also mentioned the planned Boss Challenge mode for Stellar Blade.
He noted that SHIFT UP is currently observing players and making decisions based on feedback, and details of the mode have not been decided yet.
The heavily requested Photo mode was also mentioned in the interview and the development team is currently looking into it.
Meanwhile, Lee also noted that the official soundtrack for Stellar Blade is slated to be released this coming summer.
