NIKKE To Rerun Christmas Rupee and Anne In New Event

Shift Up has announced a nice surprise for their winter NIKKE event- rerun banners for the Christmas versions of Anne and Rupee.

In a tweet, they confirmed that alongside the Neverland update for NIKKE, they’d also be bringing back limited units from last year’s event.

It’s not quite clear if the Christmas version of Anne and Rupee will be getting their own bespoke rerun banners or not- while Shift Up’s Twitter says they’d only be available “via [Ludmilla: Winter Owner] and [Mica: Snow Buddy] Limited Pick Up Recruitment”, the game’s actual patch notes only mentions they’ll be available in Limited Pick Up Recruitment banners.

The banners will run from December 7th to December 31st alongside the main event, with the new featured units also being limited.

This marks the first time we’ve seen previously limited units return- Rupee: Winter Shopper was particularly popular when the character first debuted, with the ability to let players activate two Burst Is at the same time.

However, Limited units in NIKKE are surprisingly rare- most new units find their way to the Standard Banner, with only seasonal units and crossover collabs getting the Limited treatment.

That’s not all coming to the event, however- the update will also add a new costume for Blanc, available via the Lucky Bunny Pass to go alongside the traditional skin for Noir in the Mission Pass.
