Nijisanji and AnyColor have announced on their official Twitter that the upcoming Nijisanji EN AR Live Colors Pastel Stage and Vivid Stage have been canceled.
The reason for the cancellation is due to “various circumstances” which include the rise of covid-19 cases across Japan causing delays in the event’s production. The concerts were originally planned to take place on the 8th and 9th of April 2023. Here is the full statement:
【Important Notice】
Due to schedule delays caused by circumstances such as coronavirus, we are sorry to announce that the NIJISANJI EN AR LIVE “COLORS” #PASTEL_STAGE & #VIVID_STAGE is canceled.
We sincerely apologize to our fans and we hope for your kind understanding. pic.twitter.com/OeazwTXVZq— NIJISANJI EN Official (@NIJISANJI_World) February 2, 2023
They have further stated that they are making adjustments to refund tickets. Plans involving future events and possible rescheduling will be also announced in the near future.
Nijisanji EN AR Live Colors was meant to be a concert that would feature songs from 19 different Nijisanji vtubers with performances from the groups LazuLight, OBSYDIA, and Ethyria. It was planned to be Nijjisanji EN’s first Live Event which makes its cancelation quite a shame.
Many fans have responded to this news with disappointment but understanding, wishing the best to the vtubers involved. Many are also asking if it’s possible for the concert to be rescheduled to a later date, whether this will happen or not however is yet to be seen.
