Square Enix has just announced that it will be holding a Drakengard 3 crossover event for NieR Reincarnation, which sees main character Zero and companion Mikhail added as limited-time units. The event will start on 7 October 2021 and will last for an unspecified period of time.
As part of the announcement, we are treated with a teaser trailer, though it does not exactly give any details as to what the event will entail. With that said however, the event has already being run on the Japanese version under the title Drag-on Dragoon 3, which so happens to be Drakengard 3 is called in Japan. For reference, the event lasted for approximately 30 days, and featured, among other things, a new collaboration quest and collectible medals that can be exchange for the aforementioned collaboration characters. The medals can also be traded in for upgrade items and materials. Meanwhile as for the event gacha banner, it included limited-time costumes for the likes of Zero, Akeha and Fio.
In any case, NieR Reincarnation is now available for download on Android and iOS, so be sure to check that out, although there are some hoops to jump through, if you are not from a particular region.
