The Japanese release of NieR Reincarnation is available for pre-download ahead of its release on 18 February 2021. A pre-release stream also showcased more looks at the gameplay. You can watch the full stream below:
First off, release log in bonuses will give out a total of 3000 premium currency over three days. The NieR Automata release collaboration is also confirmed once again as previously announced. The log in bonus will give out an “Emil’s Head” weapon. There’ll be two sets of costume gacha, one for the game’s release and another for the collab. The collab gacha will feature 9S, 2B and A2. Both gacha will run until 31 March 11:59 JST. The event itself will have exchange medals for a variety of rewards.
With all that said and done, NieR Reincarnation will open its pre-download on both the Apple Store and Google Play Store, with the servers expected to open anytime around noon JST to evening on the 18th itself. You’d probably want to check out the game’s official Twitter regarding the exact time. The Japanese release will be used as the starting ground to help the NA / EU releases be as smooth as possible, according to its latest update, so the rest of the world will need to hang on tight for whenever that will be. Pre-registrations remain open until up to the game’s launch.
