NieR Reincarnation finally available in English

NieR Reincarnation is finally available in English, though not necessarily worldwide as players in other regions have reported not being able to download it from their respective store pages. In any case, NieR Reincarnation has a Japanese dub option for the English release, so if you can play it, that’s one less thing to ask for.

With the servers going live, you can hop in for a variety of rewards. If you were a beta tester, you should uninstall that client before getting the official release. Rewards include:

• Countdown event bonuses, until 2 August, 12:59 AM PT
  • XL Character Enhancement × 1,000
  • XL Weapon Enhancement × 1,000
  • Gold ×100,000
• NieR: Automata bonuses
  • Emil Heads weapon log in reward
  • 1500 gems from event missions
• Release commemoration campaign
  • 3000 gems over 3 days
  • 4500 gems and enhancement items from pre-registration milestones

Additionally, the NieR Automata launch collaboration is currently running, with associated collaboration gacha for 2B, 9S, and A2. Their collab event story, “Record: The Cage of Reincarnation” will see them have increased attack power in the event quests. 2P, Akeha and Fio are likewise also available to summon.

We tried out the original Japanese release, with our impressions here. In the months to come, English players can expect the Replicant and Drakengard 3 collaborations to follow, so if you’re interested in any of them, best start saving.
