Square Enix has announced a Closed Beta Test (CBT) date for the English release of NieR Reincarnation, the mobile game based on the popular NieR series.
Players will be randomly selected to join the Beta, based on those who have already pre-registered for the game. According to the official Facebook page, the Nier Reincarnation English Beta date will be May 25th, at 7.00pm PST (May 26th, 10am GMT+8).

Sadly, the NieR Reincarnation EN Beta will be Android early, so iOS players will not be able to try the game’s English release ahead of its launch later this year.
Despite sharing a name, NieR Reincarnation is not a sequel or follow-up to NieR Replicant or Automata, in much of the same ways Automata was its own story independent of Replicant. That being said, based on the Japanese release of the game, we know that characters from across the greater “Yoko World” (A name given to refer to all of Yoko Taro’s works, which share the same timeline) will be recruitable in the game, such as Automata’s iconic 2B or even characters from Draakengard.
