NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition coming soon

Square Enix has recently announced that the popular NieR: Automata will receive a Game of the YoRHa Edition. The latest edition will basically be a Game of the Year Edition which includes the base game, DLCs and other in-game item bonuses.

NieR: Automata launched on February 23, 2017 in Japan before other regions followed soon after. Upon release, the game received praise from critics in numerous categories including narrative, characterization and thematic design. Despite all the praises, the game received some criticism on visuals and technical issues. Overall, the game was a critical and commercial success with over 3.5 million copies sold worldwide.

As mentioned earlier, NieR Automata: Game of the YoRHa Edition will include the base game, DLCs and in-game item bonuses. In total, the product includes the following:

• Bonus Content
  • Accessory: Machine Mask
  • Pod Model: Grimoire Weiss
  • Pod Skin: Cardboard, Retro Red, Retro Grey, Play System (digital version only)

The game will launch for the PS4 on February 21 2019 in Japan for 4800 yen. In addition, it will also launch on Steam in Japan on the 27th. On the other hand, the price of NieR: Automata Become As Gods Edition for the Xbox One will be reduced to 4800 yen on February 21st.

However, Square Enix has yet to announce a western release for the YoRHa Edition. It is currently unknown whether it will come out for western countries.
