According to a report by Sensor Tower, a sum of more than USD 100mn in sales has been generated by Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds just 11 days after its release. For context, that amount was hit faster than Pokemon Go and Genshin Impact.
Between 10 June 2021 and 20 June 2021, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds made USD 101.3mn during the reported period in the mobile RPG category, and for comparison, Uma Musume: Pretty Derby and Fate/Grand Order generated USD 36mn and USD 35mn during the same time, respectively. Of course, the other achievement is that the game took only 11 days to hit that number, while Pokemon GO and Genshin Impact took 12 days and 13 days, respectively. At 45%, Japan contributed the most to the game’s bottomline, followed by South Korea and Taiwan at 35% and 15.7%, respectively.
It is worth mentioning that the game grossed this amount despite just being available in East Asia as of time of reporting. Netmarble had previously confirmed plans to bring the game to the global audience during the first half of 2022.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is currently available to download for Android and iOS platforms in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea and Macau.
