Acer had their Next@Acer keynote event in Berlin today, and the company showed off plenty of goods. The future of hardware for gamers is quite tantalizing. Have a look at one sweet chair.
More of a “gaming cave” than an ordinary chair, hardcore gaming enthusiasts will be suitably catered to with this. The structure will include chair, modular desk and monitor arm. Get full immersion from your games in this cockpit. The soft, teal blue lighting is perfect for gaming. Adjust the chair at various angles for comfort (130 degrees inside cabin, 180 outside). It also has a massage function, great for easing those taut muscles. The desk has an adjustable keyboard and mouse tray. The structure also has a foot rest.
You’ll be able to set up to three displays on this baby. The monitor arm can also be manually raised and lowered with a convenient handle right below the middle monitor stand. If you want to stream yourself, there’s a place for the camera at the middle monitor stand for easy broadcasting action.
Store your gaming PC behind the chair on its own platform. A cable management system will store all cords and wires neatly, out of the way. There’s plenty of customization options from Acer, from a seat stabilizer, cup holder, to USB hub and camera.
You can look forward to getting the Predator Thronos Air in Q4 starting at EUR 8,975 / USD 13,999 / RMB 79,999.
