Here’s the close-ups from the clip:
They both look closer to humanoid form now, with Wargreymon even having more defined human masculine features. We naturally don’t know how this will pan out in the movie and what stage these forms are. Depending on how you felt about Digimon Adventure tri., these designs could prove even more divisive for you. As it were, tri. itself certainly did invoke mixed feelings among those in the fandom as with how media works, but the Adventure group still seems to be going strong, what with Psi being an apparent reboot of this series.
Could the new forms for the iconic Digimon be temporary forms or as a final form from the strength of their bonds? We won’t be speculating too much, but it would be interesting to see the discussions surrounding the movie ahead of its full release, and before it heads to the rest of the world. What are you most looking forward to in the movie? Answers regarding the forms of Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon can’t come soon enough in the local release for Digimon Last Evolution Kizuna.
