In addition to the previously revealed professions such as the Woodcutter, skilled in close combat, the Archer, proficient in long-range attacks, and the Ascetic, capable of slowing down enemy movements for a certain period, two new Roles have been unveiled. They are the Sumo Wrestler and Shaman.
The Sumo Wrestler is essentially the tank of the game. They will draw the attention of the surrounding Seethe. Proficient in close combat, they use their physique as leverage.
The Shaman are the healers. They can restore the health of surrounding ally units through a healing dance.
Yoshiro’s Specialty: Traditional Sweets
In this game, where you can feel the various seasons of “Wa” (”和” in Japanese culture), traditional Japanese sweets that color each season will appear as the daily indulgence of the Maiden, Yoshiro. These traditional sweets, boasting a tradition of over 200 years, are meticulously crafted by the renowned Kyoto confectionery shop, ‘Tsuruya Yoshinobu’, and reproduced through 3D scanning. You can visually savor the exquisite collaboration between the artisans of ‘Tsuruya Yoshinobu’ and Capcom’s technology.
About ‘Kyogashi Tsuruya Yoshinobu’
Founded by the first generation Tsuruya Ihei in 1803 in Nishijin, Kyoto. A long-established Kyoto confectionery shop with a history of over 220 years. Upholding the family motto of “Creating Fine Things,” they preserve traditional techniques while devising new wagashi (Japanese sweets) and cafes that incorporate contemporary sensibilities. They actively engage in various collaboration projects, expanding the allure of historic Kyoto sweets and continuously pursuing new values in Japanese confectionery.
Players who pre-order will receive the protagonist Soh’s equipment, the “Walking Basket” and “Astral Projection” Mazo Talismans, as well as a digital Mini Artbook which includes concept art from the game. Though it may be available on a later date and cannot be obtained through other means in the game.
