New Transformers: Forged To Fight trailer revealed

Hasbro has just rolled out a new trailer for their upcoming fighting game, Transformers: Forged To Fight, at New York Toy Fair held today in the US.

If everything looks familiar, there is a good reason for that as the game is developed by Kabam, the same people behind Marvel Contest of Champions. So while battles take place in a 3D space, you actually fight on a 2D plane like normal. That sounds all dandy, but the kicker has to be the developers announcing that they are feature characters from almost every generation of Transformers, which should be a boon for all diehard fans of the old franchise, as they are given a new lease in life.

Duke it out, robo to robo

Classic Soundwave and Optimus Prime are present, as is the Beast Wars version of the latter. While the huge cast is definitely enticing, the gameplay mechanics will have to be equally good as well. Thankfully, given the track record of the company, this should very well be the case.
