The Tekken 7 Tournament at EVO 2022 has ended with a trailer for an upcoming free update and said trailer ended with a tease for a new project for the Tekken series.

“Ready your fists for more. A free update with battle balance adjustments will be implemented in #TEKKEN & The Global Finals of the #TWT2023 will be held on February 4-5, 2023 in Amsterdam”
The trailer ends with footage of Kazuya’s ending from the original PS1 which then cuts to new footage with a new model of Kazuya alongside the tagline “Get Ready”.
We have no confirmation of what this new Tekken project is. Most people believe that it will be Tekken 8 but there’s always a chance it could be something else like a remake, reimagining, or remaster. As of right now, only Bandai Namco’s Tekken Team knows for sure.
The new update for Tekken 7 reveals that the game will be getting new balance adjustments as well as “new tactics. It also announced that the Tekken World Tour 2022 Global Finals will take place in Amsterdam on February 4-5th 2023.
Tekken 7 is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
