Free new content of Operation Grand Heist includes a new Specialist. Available in multiplayer and Blackout, Outrider makes her official debut. Her longbow, the Sparrow, allows her to silently take out enemies with explosive precision.
A new Blackout location, Ghost Town, also makes its way onto the new scene. Ghost Town features two areas inspired by classic maps from past Black Ops titles. The above ground destination is almost like Black Ops 2’s classic map, Standoff while the below ground destination features underlying caverns from the classic Zombies map, Buried.
Operation Grand Heist also introduces a new Blackout mode called Hot Pursuit which will come on February 23. The fast-paced Hot Pursuit will see the introduction of three new vehicles – SUV, muscle car and PBR assault boat. In this new game mode, squads will race around the map to drops that supply armour, weapons and grenades. Use them to dominate your opponents.
The Black Market has also been restocked with new weapons, outfits and accessories with the new Operation Grand Heist theme. A new long-range weapon called the Vendetta Sniper Rifle will also be coming later in the season.
Operation Grand Heist also brings new features to the Zombies mode including a new round-based Gauntlet challenge mode for the Classified map and Ethereal Razor that substantially increases a player’s melee damage with area of effect and life regeneration as the hit count accumulates.
Furthermore, the Zombies experience Classified which is previously only available for pass owners is now available for all players as a standalone map. Though, you will have to purchase it first. Classified features the Ultimis characters whose task is to investigate their mysterious teleportation to The Pentagon as they fight the undead.
Additionally, a new Zombies experience called Ancient Evil will launch for Black Ops Pass owners in March. Details will be revealed soon. For more information, you can follow Call of Duty’s official website, Facebook Page, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube channel.
