New PS5 Malaysia Price Announced

The price for the new PS5 models and its new accessories have just been announced for Malaysia.

The price in Malaysia for the new PS5 models are as follows:

• PS5 with Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive – MYR 2,499
• PS5 Digital Edition – MYR 2,069

Those who purchase Digital Edition can opt to add the Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive later, as it will also be sold separately for RM529.

A horizontal stand will be included with the new PS5 model, but the new vertical stand compatible with all PS5 models will be sold separately at RM149.

The prices of other regions in Southeast Asia has also been announced, but the prices of some products have yet to be announced for certain regions.

It should also be noted that there has yet to be a release date for the new model outside of the United States.

The new PS5 features the same technology being packed into a smaller form factor, along with an attachable Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive and a 1TB SSD for more internal storage.

Old models will still continue to roll out globally in the following months, but once inventory of the current PS5 model has sold out, the new PS5 will become the only model available.

A variety of PS5 Console Cover colours for the new model will also be available starting in early 2024, including the Deep Earth Collection which comes in Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver.
