A New Pokemon Strategy Game – Pokemon Duel!

Pokemon Duel is a game unlike the one produced by Niantic. In fact, Pokemon Duel is actually made by the Pokemon Company International. It’s the real deal! The Pokemon Company International recently announced that Pokemon Duel is available for download in the App Store and Play Store for free! The game is a new mobile strategy game which consists of Pokemon figures and tactical moves to reach the opponent’s goal for victory.

You first assemble a team of 6 Pokemon which has their own strengths and a set number of steps it can take. Once you’ve assemble them, you’ll need to choose the different paths available to rush towards the goal or block your opponent’s Pokemon from advancing to yours. When Pokemons meet, there will be a battle and each player will spin their Pokemon’s Data Disk to initiate an Attack move.

Prior to moving and Pokemon battles, there is a plate with various effects that can be used first before the start of their turn. The various effects includes swapping positions of Pokemon in play or giving your Pokemon various battle enhancements for the turn. As the goal of the game is set on who reaches their goal first, it is crucial for players to make their strategic moves wisely to either Attack or Defend against the opponent’s goal.

The game requires you to connect to the internet so you can duel against real opponents any time. Of course to balance the game, players will be matched according to their skill around the world. The Pokemon figures can be earned through Time Boosters that can be unlocked with every League victory. By winning the League matches, players will earn their rating and will gain a chance to obtain different Pokemon figures as they compete against the world in the higher-level leagues.
