Publisher Aniplex has announced the development and upcoming release of ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra’, a new game under the Madoka Magica IP.
Developed by Pokelabo and f4samurai, ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra’ the game is planned for a Japanese release sometime in 2024.
There is not much information about the game available yet, but based on the images on the game’s official website, it will be mostly focused on the Magica Quartet from the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime and movies, as opposed to Magia Record which was primarily a spin off from the IP.
Surprisingly, the bottom of the website features a green Kyubey staring at the viewer. Long time fans of the series would know that all Kyubeys seen so far throughout the shows and games are pink and white, which raises many questions about the state of the world in this game.
At the moment, there is no information about the platform that the game will be released on.
Pokelabo and f4samurai are primarily known for developing multiple mobile games in Japan, with some of their past projects including Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, Assault Lily Last Bullet and SINoALICE.
Additionally, there is currently no additional information available about the staff working behind the game, so it remains to be seen if familiar faces such as Gen Urobuchi will be involved in this project.
