New Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaire’s Conspiracy trailer up

A new trailer for Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaire’s Conspiracy has been posted by its developers Level-5.

The latest installment in the Layton franchise is said to be that of a “high-speed comical puzzle-solving story.” While previous Layton games entailed a main story where one grand mystery is to be solved, Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaire’s Conspiracy places emphasis on smaller incidents taking place in London, one after the other. In essence, the developers are going for a “more everyday and familiar feeling.” this time around.

The core gameplay remains more or less the same, as players will move around town while investigating a variety of locations. Speaking to others will be imperative, as is examining items to find mysteries and hints to solve puzzles that impede your progress.

In addition to the 3DS in Japan, Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaire’s Conspiracy will be out for iOS and Android worldwide, on 20 July 2017. Yes, there will be English language support
