KLab announces a new JoJo mobile game, in partnership with Shengqu Games. As such, we can expect this JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure game to be China exclusive, at least for a while. We’d actually previously mentioned the existence of such a game, which now has a name: JoJo的奇妙冒險 黃金讚歌, possibly translated as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure The Golden Hymn, or The Golden Anthem, depending on which name gets preferred in fandom.
There is a website where players can sign up for updates, which is restricted to those with a China ID as you might expect. There isn’t any additional information that can be gleaned from the website, be it what game it’ll be, or a potential release date. Since there’s a link to the Japanese JoJo portal, we might be able to expect the title to coincide with the animation special event on 4 April 2021, or close to it.
Shengqu Games has done Fallout Shelter Online which made it out of China to select Asia regions, so we’ll have to see which publisher will want to pick up the title once it’s out in China. JoJo fans aren’t having any shortage of new stuff, with JoJo World also set to open 5 March 2021, so 2021 seems pretty bright.
