Fire Force is getting a new mobile game in Japan, without revealing much about the title besides having a new song from from MRS. GREEN APPLE, who performed the opening of the series’ first anime season. The new mobile Fire Force game is from Mobcast Games and extra mile Inc.
As of right now, the game presently has an official website and Twitter account that you can check out. This isn’t the first mobile title for the series, with one developed by ORENDA, which launched 29 September 2020 for iOS and 15 October 2020 for Android.
Dubbed Fire Force: Battle for the Flame Road, it’s a side-scrolling action game that recreates the aesthetics of the ending animation of the second season of the anime. Players will be able to manipulate Shinra Kusakabe or Arthur Boyle to battle against the Infernals under the assistance of the Special Fire Force Company 8. As the game progresses, you can pick up different items to attack the enemies or recover your HP. The final score is based on the numbers of Infernals you defeat and the quest-clearing time. While it does not appear defunct as yet, its ratings on the Apple App Store does not bode well for it.
In any case, we’ll have to see what the new game – roughly translated to Flame Dance Chapter – will be able to offer in the future.
