From what we are able to deduce from the video, up to 100 players can be in the main lobby area at a time, which is quite impressive for a smartphone title. The kinds of jobs available to players include the Paladin, Black Mage, Dragoon, Monk and Bard.
The video also showcases gameplay elements, particularly on how the quest system works. You start off in a lobby, where you will then be able to either join someone else’s quest or host your own. Each quest lasts about five minutes. Being a smartphone title, the developer also detailed the gacha system, which seems to be split into several forms, the first being gacha for weapons and equipment to power up your characters. Then you have an ability gacha which lets you roll for various abilities and a certain Gil gacha which wasn’t explained.
In any case, Final Fantasy Explorers-Force is expected to launch in Japan before the end of 2017 for Android and iOS.
