A new Digimon figure line has been announced called the Digimon Adventure Dynamotion figures.
According to Digimon Forum With The Will, this figure line will focus on creating high-quality vinyl PVC figures in ‘powerful poses’. The slogan calls them “The Figures Capturing The Most Dynamic of Motions.
So far the iconic Digimon Greymon and MetalGreymon have been announced. You can see the released pictures of them below.

The notable thing about these figures is the more monstrous design with rougher-looking textured scaly skin and sleek steel and ragged wings for MetalGreymon.
The figures are obviously modeled after the animalistic Digimon artwork of the series’ designer and artist Kenji Watanabe. Based on 90s western comics, Watanabe’s Digimon artwork certainly looks distinct and would be a treat to have in plastic form.
Pre-orders for both of the new Digimon Adventure Dynamotion Figure line figures are up on Amazon Japan. Greymon is 5.7 inches tall and costs 2,860 yen, while MetalGreymon is 6.7 inches tall and costs 3,080.
It will be interesting to see what other Digimon will be added later on to the line. I suppose the Greymon line is too iconic not to be first up but it would be nice to see some of the lesser-known Digimon get done up. I could see Digimon like Kabuterimon, Zudomon, or Seadramon looking especially cool with this art style.
Digimon has seen a lot of new merch recently, likely to coincide with the new anime Digimon Ghost Game.
