New Call Of Duty mobile game in the works by Candy Crush developer, King

Rejoice Call of Duty fans! Apparently, a new Call of Duty mobile game is currently in the works by King (developer of Candy Crush) as they are recruiting several positions to work on a project that aims to “create a Call of Duty experience on mobile”.

The several positions King is hiring included a Level Designer, Senior Network Engineer and a Senior Tools Developer. They will be joining King’s exciting new project in Stockholm (Sweden), where all of their ads include the same lines as below:

In collaboration with Activision Blizzard, we are adapting one of the most iconic game franchises of all-time: Call of Duty.

The aim is to create a Call of Duty experience on mobile, while also breaking new ground for mobile and redefining the genre. The approach and ambition is to be fresh, social, and highly accessible, while providing a very authentic game experience.

The job ads also suggested that the new COD mobile game will be a shooter game. Not much information is available on the internet now as the mobile game is not being announced yet, but it is definitely something to look forward to. Stay tuned for more updates!
