New Acer Swift 3X and Acer Aspire 5 now available in Malaysia

Since their unveiling at the next@acer global press conference just last month, the newly announced Acer Swift 3X and new Acer Aspire 5 are now in Malaysia. Both laptops push the envelope in ultra-portable design, featuring striking design and the latest tech in a thin and light package. Both come with 11th Gen Intel Core processors and Intel’s latest graphic solutions for optimal working environments. They also have a new device-lifting hinge for extra ventilation at certain angles for more airflow and better thermal performance, with adjustable cooling modes according to requirements.

For the creative users in mind, this 17.95mm, 1.37kg machine utilizes an Intel Iris Xe MAX graphics optimized with 11th Gen Intel Core processors for uncompromised performance and mobility for mobile creative users. Deep Link technology allows CPU and GPU performance to be boosted intelligently while supporting better AI-Enabled editing and hyper video encoding speeds.

The Acer Swift 3X comes with up to 16GB onboard DPDDR4X RAM and 512GB superfast PCIe NVMe SSD to minimize loading time. Together with 2×2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 AX) and Bluetooth 5.0, Acer Swift 3X also comes with a plentiful array of ports such as HDMI 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB Type-C that supports Thunderbolt 4 for fast data transfer and power delivery.

Through the narrow bezel with 84% screen-to-body ratio, Acer Swift 3X has a 14-inch FHD IPS display that covers 72% NTSC color gamut providing eye popping colors and details bringing images and video to life. Acer ExaColor provides sRGB-like display quality while Acer Color Intelligence dynamically adjusts gamma and saturation in real-time. Together, both visual features lessen eyestrain and improve color recreation.

Comparatively, the Acer Swift 3X is equipped with a bigger fan that provides roughly 60% airflow improvement. Multiple cooling modes and dual D6 copper heat pipes maximize the cooling efficiency of the Acer Swift 3X. Its up to 17.5 hours1 of battery life can last the entire day and in cases of emergencies it can be fast charged to provide 4 hours of video playback with just a 30-minute charge.

Pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019, the ultra-delish looking Steam Blue colored Acer Swift 3X is available immediately at all Acer official online stores and all Acer authorized resellers nationwide. The 11th Gen Intel Core i7 with 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD is priced at RM4,599 while the 11th Gen Intel Core i5 with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD retails for just RM3,799.
