Netmarble US partners with the NBA and NBPA for upcoming game

Netmarble US have partnered up with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) to create an all-new, original mobile game featuring star NBA athletes, impressive visuals, and approachable gameplay.

Netmarble US will be teaming up with independent video game developer, Kung Fu Factory, for the NBA title, currently in active development. The Western-based subsidiary of Netmarble will see this new title as the first publishing project for the company, where development, marketing, and publishing are all being handled entirely within Western regions.

Details regarding the partnership and upcoming game release will be revealed at a later date. Electronic Arts has released NBA mobile games, as a mobile version of their console sports titles. Perhaps this title won’t be the actual sport but something else, like say, a card game. We’ll keep an eye out.
