As we get closer to the release of the live-action adaptation of One Piece, Netflix unveiled an exclusive new featurette revealing some behind-the-scenes look at the production.
In the new featurette, Netflix revealed a never-before-seen look at the behind-the-scenes of the live-action adaption of One Piece, featuring interviews with the cast as they discuss their experiences during production.
Furthermore, the creative team and crew behind the series also revealed their production experiences, discussing how they bring Eiichiro Oda’s popular pirate adventure manga series to life in a live-action format, as well as the journey of finding the perfect cast and stunt coordination to make the show a reality.
The behind-the-scenes sneak peek video is meant to kick off the 10-day countdown until One Piece premiers on 31 August 2023, exclusively on Netflix.
To commemorate the premiere of One Piece, Netflix is also hosting a series of fan celebrations events around the world, including in the United States, France, Indonesia, Japan, Italy, Philippines, Thailand, Germany, Brazil, and Mexico.
Additionally, Netflix encourages fans to join the “Straw Hat Grand Fleet” to become part of their “Nakama” for further exclusive updates and surprises for the One Piece live-action series.
On top of all that, Netflix also recommended to fans the official One Piece podcast “The MANA Podcast“, hosted by Matt Owens, the screenwriter and co-showrunner of the show.
In the MANA Podcast, Matt Owens invited his entertainment industry friends to have a conversation about their favorite anime series and tropes, especially One Piece.
The One Piece live-action series will premiere on 31 August 2023, fans interested can watch it as it releases exclusively on Netflix.
