Netflix is reportedly working on a Resident Evil TV series

There has always been rumours of a Resident Evil movie series reboot since it ended in 2016. Constantin Film, the studio that was behind the movie series, will be taking charge of the TV series, should there be one soon. Though, it has not been officially announced and details about it are lacking.

Constantin Film, who had also acquired the rights to the video game series, is trying to expand the franchise. The TV series will give us more of an understanding about the dark truths behind the Umbrella Corporation.

What is more interesting is, we might get to know the new world order caused by the outbreak of the T-virus. We assume that it means the aftermath after all the Undead were wiped out in The Final Chapter movie. That looks very interesting but we do not know for sure.

With the remake of the Resident Evil 2 game getting released very soon, the franchise is looking promising again. Also, looks like it is time to get ourselves a Netflix account!
