NetEase’s The Soul of Hunter Beta Is Up In Stores Today!

If you haven’t heard, The Soul of Hunter is a game by NetEase. The game is supposed to be a monster-slaying RPG like its counterpart, Monster Hunter! Since its announcement back in July 2017, the game is finally up in both iOS and Android stores!

As mentioned that The Soul of Hunter is a game that is similar to Monster Hunter, there are still certain features that set those two apart. Like Monster Hunter, players will need to hunt monsters around the map to acquire their parts to create or upgrade their weapons. However for each drop from the monsters, players will have the chance to pick up a “Hunting Soul”.

Like Monster Hunter, there are no jobs or classes per se. Instead, players will get to wield two weapons of choice interchangeably depending on the situation in need. Currently there are over 6 unique weapons to choose from like the Dual Blade or Spear, or even the classic Bow and Arrow. As seen in the trailer as well, players will be hunting giant monsters on different terrains and elements.
