Just before Tokyo Game Show 2017 (TGS 17), NetEase holds a media conference that officially reveals their upcoming mobile game, an Onmyoji MOBA. The game was previously named as Project MOBA and is now title “Kessen! Kyoto” (not official translation, Chinese Original Name: 決戰!平安京).
The game will have a fairer and complicated system comparing to Tencent’s Honor of Kings (王者荣耀). There will be no Rune system for players to purchase high-level runes and boost the hero stat, instead there is a “Talent” system where you can adjust your Talent points before every match. The game also introduces a brand new mirror-map system that provides same terrain and resources for both sides.
Since the game is based on Onmyoji, you will see various characters from Onmyoji featuring as the heroes. Every hero will have a maximum level of 18 with 4 hero skills, 2 general skills and 1 passive skill. The battle map will also be 1.5 times bigger than most of the mobile MOBA map in the market now.
Here is a gameplay preview from the internet (by Tiểu Nhất):
The game is in CBT for now, we will get you informed if there is more information available.
