New NetEase Open World MMO – Prophecy 76 Now Open for Pre-Registration

The upcoming open world MMO titled Prophecy 76 (Title Unconfirmed) by NetEase is now open for pre-registration. However, the release date for the game is still yet to be announced.

Do note that since this MMO has no official name, we will be referring the game as Prophecy 76; which is a rough translation of the placeholder name that developers Inception Game Studio have came up with. (暂时叫它 天字七六 )

While there are still no information regarding the gameplay of Prophecy 76, there were bits of what seems to be the gameplay shown in the trailer. The trailer shows off duo protagonists (most likely the male and female playable character) exploring the city on skateboards, and also some form of grappling mechanic to move around the overworld.

The trailer also shows off a cast of colourful characters (most probably gacha characters) in an equally colourful setting. From the Inception Game Studio official Weibo account, the producer also talks about mixing in various “mini-games” which involves hotpots, mahjong and some form of stealth mechanic too.

Meanwhile the second half of the trailer shows our two protagonist entering what feels like an alternate dimension; where they engage in combat and solve puzzles in a style that can only be described as a vibrant digital fever dream.
