Knives Out is a game by NetEase which is probably one of the closest PUBG clones for mobile among others out there. The game named 荒野行动 roughly translates to “Wilderness Survival” that apparently took the top spot in the Chinese App Store. Currently NetEase has launched it on iOS and it is nowhere to be found in the Play Store.
While the game stole the top spot in the Chinese App Store from China’s MOBA Arena of Valor. The PUBG clone for mobile has gained success from its indistinguishable clone from the original PUBG of PC. China is known for their talent it making copies and one should not underestimate them. The game is just one that was made successful because it is basically PUBG on mobile.
It was first released only in Chinese even though it was made available outside of China. However now, NetEase has made it easier for others to understand with the release of Knives Out for the English community. With that, the Chinese version of the game was taken down which only mean that NetEase is aiming for the global and bigger community.
Since English is the lingua franca of the world, it is understandable of NetEase’s move to only keep the English version and take down the Chinese one. So if you are interested in the game, you’re in luck! Download it now but mind you, it is only available in the App Store; for now probably.
