NetEase Games has launched a new studio, titled T-Minus Zero Entertainment featuring various online game veterans.
T-Minus Zero Entertainment will be headed by Rich Vogel, who has worked on MMOs like Ultima Online as well as Star Wars: The Old Republic with the studio based in Austin, Texas.
Aside from that, the studios roster also includes Game Director Mark Tucker, Art Director Jeff Dobson, as well as VP of Operations and Production Scott Malone.
They’re also hiring more artists, with a remote-first approach to hiring.
“Our studio’s mission is to create epic, immersive worlds where players from around the globe can play together, forming vibrant and passionate communities,” said Rich Vogel, studio head of T-Minus Zero Entertainment. “The team at NetEase Games shares our vision to create memorable and meaningful experiences, and they have made it a priority to provide the support and creative freedom to allow us to make our dream a reality.”
Netease Games has confirmed that the studio’s first project will be an online multiplayer third-person action game, with a sci-fi setting for the title.
According to the previously mentioned job listings, the new title will likely be an original IP.
