Neowiz has signed on to publish the Idoly Pride mobile game in Korea. The game is part of a multimedia project revolving around idols, as you might expect from the name.
In the game, you are these idols’ manager, tasked with organizing their fan meets, TV appearances, and naturally, their live performances. Bond with your idols, as they may share with you their concerns through messages or even calls. You can watch their 3D MV stage performances, with the whole song and dance (no pun intended).
Idoly Pride launched its game in Japan 24 June 2021, while Neowiz is planning to begin accepting pre-registrations for the Korea release within the first half of 2022. As a multimedia project, the corresponding anime first aired January 2021, concluding its 12 episode season March 2021. There is a manga adaptation as well, one that is on-going and the other, more focused story on Mana Nagase, has concluded.
While idol related games are quite common, they don’t often delve into the actual management. If you’re interested in that, you could give the game a go. Neowiz is a global publisher as well, after all, with the potential to bring the game to worldwide audiences. The Korean release is perhaps one step closer to that dream.
