A new Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm fighting game called Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections has been announced at the recent PlayStation State of Play.
The game will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Naruto anime’s airing. You can check out the trailer for the new game below on the PlayStation youtube channel:
“The next exciting entry in the STORM series, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Naruto’s anime debut, releases in 2023! The game features new playable characters in addition to the 124 ninjas from past series! Plus, it connects key moments from the first four STORM entries into one game for the first time”.
This will be the seventh installment in the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series of 3D arena fighters following Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 – Road to Boruto, an updated version of Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 that was released for the Nintendo Switch in 2020.
The game is confirmed to have 124 playable fighters, giving it the largest roster in the entire series including characters from both Naruto as well as the Boruto sequel series. A number of brand-new characters will also be added to the game.
Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will launch for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S later this year in 2023.
