Asobimo‘s N-INNOCENCE was originally slated for a 24 November 2021 launch, but has since been delayed to 2022 instead.
What we know so far about the game is that its story is said to revolve around the themes of mythology, while giving them a science fiction flavour. Norse, Japanese and Greek mythology are said to be featuring in the first three chapters of the game respectively, presumably with more to come.
It is meant to invoke a visual style similar to a 2D fighting game, with extremely intuitive controls. Simply tap anywhere on the screen to attack, tap repeatedly for a combo, with a “Combo Art” to finish off the chain. Press and hold to activate a character’s special move. If you can push an enemy into the “Burst” state, that’s when you can deal more damage to your foe. Up to three characters will be in your frontline, with backup coming in the form of “assist skills”.
In the mean time, the official website has since been updated with glimpses at the story and battle system, while illustrations, and character introductions are also available on the official Twitter here. N-INNOCENCE getting delayed means there’s still time to pre-register, which will get you premium currency and the 4-star character, Omoikane.
