Mythgard, A Mobile CCG, Available Now

The mobile CCG pool just got a little more crowded with the release of Mythgard. The game is available on iOS, Android and even Steam.

Previously, the game was in early access. Aside from launching as a full game, Mythgard is also getting its first expansion. The expansion is called The Rings of Immortality.

According to developer Rhino Games, the plan moving forward is going to be to introduce a new expansion every four to five months. This should keep the game’s internal meta from getting stale, since new content is never too far away.

Additionally, the game features 2v2 modes, so you and your friends can team up instead of constantly dueling each other. As a bonus, the game isn’t purely PvP, as it also has many PvE modes. It also has a story mode, for those who’d rather play their CCG without human interaction.

The game features all the necessary elements for a cool CCG. This of course includes dragons, cool armor as well as mecha. It has a fair amount of whimsy to it as well, with fantasy creatures in sports uniforms.

Mythgard is a free-to-play game. While it does contain in-app purchases, it does have featured decks that can be tried without owning the individual cards.
