We reported about Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer‘s imminent release in Japan a while back. Now, the game is finally out in Japan, only for iOS devices though. Android users will have to wait a little while longer before getting the game as it is still in its preparation phase.
However, it is not free. You need to pay 1,800 Yen to get the game. The RPG game first released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1995. It then got its improved remake version for the Nintendo DS in 2006. Now, Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer will be launching as a mobile game and it only got better than its previous versions.
There are a few key features that you need to know about this upcoming mobile RPG. Mystery Dungeons change forms everytime you enter and you get to explore and play them over and over again. During your journey, you will get to meet various characters whom you can choose to fight alongside with. You can, of course, restore your strength through items by buying them in villages and towns that you come across.
Additionally, there is a simplified rescue system (random password-style). We have no idea what is that ourselves so stay tuned for the gameplay. In this game, you get to gather weapons and items from the dungeons to fight against monsters and traps. Take note of one of the most important features in the game though. When you die, you lose all of your precious items and you need to start all over from scratch again!
Again, it is only available in Japan as of now for iOS devices. When there is news about an Android or even a global release, we will let you know in no time. For more information, you can visit Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer‘s official website and Twitter account.
