My Hero Ultra Rumble Will Be a Free To Play Battle Royale Featuring The Cast of My Hero Academia

Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has just announced My Hero Ultra Rumble, a free to play online multiplayer Battle Royale game based on the popular anime series.

Developed by BYKING, the same studio that brought us the My Hero One’s Justice series, My Hero Ultra Rumble will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

In My Hero Ultra Rumble, players will be joining one of eight three member teams as either Heroes or Villains as they battle across huge maps.

Players can play as their favourite My Hero characters as well as utilising their distinct Quirks to face off against enemies and cooperate with their teammates to be the last ones standing.

Characters in the game are divided into 5 different roles: Strike, Assault, Rapid, Technical, and Support; with each archetype having varying playstyles.

Additionally, players can also contribute to their team’s victory by either rescuing or intimidating civilians based on which side they’re on to obtain powerful items which can determine the outcome of the battle.

Players can also unlock new characters and customization options by gaining experience and completing missions.
