The previously announced F2P online multiplayer game based on the series, My Hero Academia, My Hero Ultra Rumble, has just been released.
A total of 8 teams with 3-players each will face off in battle royale matches, where players can choose their favourite Heroes and Villains to create a team and fight for the victory.
Heroes and Villains may have different advantages depending on their Quirk, thus you have to create a team of 3 characters that aligns your strategies according to your opponents.
Each character’s Quirk can be levelled up by picking up the Quirk Skill Cards scattered throughout the battlefield, and as you level up your Quirk, its appearance will change, and the effects will become stronger.
You have to make good use of each Quirk, and fight together as a team to make it all the way to the end.
Contributing to your own team is not just about defeating the enemy teams, as the trapped civilians hidden throughout the stages are also an important factor in deciding the outcome of the battle.
Heroes can “rescue” and Villains can “assault” these civilians respectively to obtain powerful items that can contribute to the victory or defeat of their own teams.
My Hero Ultra Rumble is now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Steam.
