My Hero Academia The Strongest Hero, the mobile game based off of the My Hero Academia series is available now for download.
The game is a 3D action game, where you collect characters from class 1-A, including protagonist Izuku Midoriya, his rival Bakugou or the fan favorite hero Froppy. Pro heroes like All Might and Endeavor are also playable, alongside antagonist Hero Killer Stain.
Unlike many anime-based mobile games that tend to be turn based battlers, My Hero Academia The Strongest Hero will feature real-time combat, where you’ll use the heroes to do combos on enemies with attacks drawn from each character’s quirks.
You’ll also be able to explore big open areas, all based on the art style of the My Hero Academia series.
Considering the game’s gacha elements, it’s not currently known if the game will be updated at a later date to include more of the series heroes, such as the various other pro heroes like Hawks or Endeavor.
My Hero Academia , A Cultural Phenomenon
My Hero Academia is one of the largest Shonen anime out right now, next to Demon Slayer. The series has multiple games, as well as several movies on top of its multi-season anime. It centers around Izuku Midoriya, a young boy who has the rare distinction of being a human born without a “Quirk”, despite wanting to be a professional hero.
Things change when he meets his hero, the legendary All Might, who tells Midoriya his quirk can be inherited. All Might then proceeds to pass the quirk on to Midoriya, who enrolls in UA, the premier institution for training young heroes.
