So far China exclusive My Hero Academia game, simply titled, My Hero Academia: Strongest Hero from KOMOE GAME, has opened pre-registrations. My Hero Academia: Strongest Hero is a 3D action RPG set for release on 3 December 2020. There are milestones up to 800,000 pre-registrations, providing items from:
- Icon frame
- Title
- Reward boxes
- Consumables
- Gold
- Gacha tickets
The game has already undergone closed beta tests prior, with concerns addressed from those tests on their Facebook page. There game will have auto battle, AI adjustments, changes to stamina refill, hero upgrades, co-op system, boss challenges and more to come. Characters who should be appearing will include:
- Izuku Midoriya
- Ochaco Uraraka
- Katsuki Bakugo
- Shoto Todoroki
- All Might
- Momo Yaoyorozu
- Denki Kaminari
- Fumikage Tokoyami
- Minoru Mineta
- Mei Hatsume
Oddly enough, the game seems to have two apparent websites: here and here. Neither website specifically mentions an original game storyline which is common for these games, appearing to adapt the manga/anime instead into game form. The game has some form of open world, where you can also see other players milling around in the same area. You’ll hop in and out of instanced areas for combat and exploration. When you get dupe characters in the gacha, they’re automatically limit broken, which is handy.
We’ll see when this would make it out of China, if ever.
